Stationary Plug Flow
The Stationary Plug Flow () study and study step are used for plug flow reactor models created with the Reaction Engineering interface. The reactor equations describe the molar flow rate (SI unit: mol/s) as a function of reactor volume (SI unit: m3) under stationary conditions. The Plug Flow Solver utilizes the mathematical analogy between volume and time in the reactor equations. Therefore, the settings for this study step are similar to those in the Time Dependent study step. This study requires the Chemical Reaction Engineering Module.
