To add an Average Over Extra Dimension () node and create an operator for computing the average over an extra dimension, under the Extra Dimension node, right-click Definitions and from the Extra Dimensions submenu, choose Average Over Extra Dimension.

Also, Average operators in other model geometries include an Evaluate in extra dimension check box in the Advanced section. When selected, the average operator computes the average over the extra dimension’s source selection for evaluation in each coordinate of the base geometry.

Enter the Operator name of the average operator.

Select the Integration order and the Frame to compute the average in. If the Extra Dimension is an axisymmetric geometry, the Compute integral in revolved geometry check box is selected by default.
