Use the Prescribed Mesh Velocity node (
) on the boundary of deforming domains to fully specify the velocity of the mesh at the boundary.
For common boundary condition settings, see Common Boundary Condition Feature Settings. The Prescribed Mesh Velocity condition allows the
Nitsche method and
Weak constraints (the default).
Enter a prescribed velocity for each coordinate direction (SIĀ unit: m/s). The default settings correspond to a fixed boundary (zero velocity in all directions) and should be avoided: use a Fixed Boundary feature instead.
