Prescribed Mesh Velocity
Use the Prescribed Mesh Velocity node () on the boundary of deforming domains to fully specify the velocity of the mesh at the boundary.
For common boundary condition settings, see Common Boundary Condition Feature Settings. The Prescribed Mesh Velocity condition allows the Nitsche method and Weak constraints (the default).
Coordinate System
Select the coordinate system in which mesh displacements are prescribed. The default is the global system in the reference frame. Using a coordinate system that depends on the moving mesh is allowed, but leads to nonlinearities that the solvers may not be able to resolve.
Prescribed Mesh Velocity
Enter a prescribed velocity for each coordinate direction (SIĀ unit: m/s). The default settings correspond to a fixed boundary (zero velocity in all directions) and should be avoided: use a Fixed Boundary feature instead.
