The Initial Values node adds initial values for the flow variables and the effective gas density that can serve as initial conditions for a transient simulation or as an initial guess for a nonlinear solver.
Enter initial values or expressions for the Velocity field, liquid phase u (SI unit: m/s) and for the
Pressure p (SI unit: Pa). The default values are 0. Also enter a value or expression for the
Effective gas density rhogeff (SI unit: kg/m
3). The default is 0 kg/m
3.
If the Solve for interfacial area check box is selected, enter an initial value for the
Number density, gas phase nd (SI unit: 1/m
3). The default is 0 1/m
3.
