Passive Conductor
The Passive Conductor node is a simplified version of the Magnet feature. It is used to model nonmagnetized conductors with thin interior or exterior electric insulation boundaries. This is useful for the fully resolved modeling of eddy currents in segmented or layered conductors. For thin iron laminates, consider modeling the material as an effective medium and use the Steinmetz or Bertotti loss models supplied by the Loss Calculation subfeature.
Constitutive Relation B-H
This section is identical to the one in the Ampère’s Law node, except for that only the options Relative permeability, B-H curve, and Effective B-H curve are available here.
Constitutive Relation Jc-E
This section is identical to the one in the Magnet node.
