Initial Values
The Initial Values node adds initial values for the displacement and velocity fields. It can serve as an initial condition for a transient simulation or as an initial guess for a nonlinear analysis. In addition to the default Initial Values node always present in the interface, you can add more Initial Values nodes if needed.
Shell Properties
Select the material layers to which the initial values are to be applied.

In the default material node, the setting is always inherited from the interface setting and cannot be changed.
