The Mass Source node adds a mass source
Qm, which appears on the right-hand side of the Darcy’s Law equation (
Equation 4-6).
For the Fracture Flow interface, the mass source is applicable to the right-hand side of Equation 4-33 in the
Subsurface Flow Module User’s Guide or
Equation 4-24 in the
Porous Media Flow Module User’s Guide (where it is multiplied with the fracture thickness).
Enter a value or expression for the Mass source Qm (SI unit: kg/(m
3·s)). The default is 0 kg/(m
3·s).
