Use the ID Interval node () to add a 1D extra dimension as a 1D interval.

To add a 1D Interval, under Definitions Library right-click the Extra Dimensions node and choose 1D Interval from the context menu.

Specify parameters by filling in the columns Name, Description, Default expression, and Read only.

Enter a Tag suffix.

In the table you can edit the First, Second, and Third Default coordinate names, which are xd1, xd2, and xd3, respectively.

Enter a value for the Left endpoint, Right endpoint, and the Number of mesh points. Select the Points to attach check box to enter one or several points in the extra dimension geometry that are identified with the base geometry in the associated text field. 1 is the first point; n is the last point.
