Aeroacoustics Interfaces
This chapter describes the physics interfaces found under the Aeroacoustics branch .
The aeroacoustic branch has physics interfaces to solve the fully linearized acoustic equation for several physical conditions, they are: the linearized Euler (LE) equations, the linearized Navier–Stokes (LNS) equations, and the linearized potential flow (LPF) equations. These equations are also referred to as convected acoustics. Flow-induced noise functionality using the Lighthill analogy exists in pressure acoustics when using the Aeroacoustic Flow Source feature, associated multiphysics coupling, and dedicated study.
