Use the Gear Axis node to select any edge in the geometry that is parallel to the axis of rotation of the gear.

This setting is available for the Spur Gear, Helical Gear, and Bevel Gear nodes.

This node is automatically added when Select a parallel edge is selected in the parent gear node. It cannot be added or removed manually.
