Fluid-Structure Interaction
Fluid-structure interaction (FSI) involves several phenomena where a solid structure and a fluid interact with each other. The interaction has three possible components, which can be more or less important:
You can model FSI with four different structural mechanics interfaces: Solid Mechanics, Multibody Dynamics, Shell, and Membrane. The fluid-flow can be modeled with any physics interface from the Single-Phase Flow and Two-Phase Flow, Phase Field groups.
