Electrode Surface Coupling
Use this node to define a flux boundary condition based on current densities of one or multiple nodes in an Electrochemistry interface.
The flux is proportional to the current densities and the stoichiometric coefficients according to Faraday’s law as defined by summation over the
Reaction Coefficients
subnodes.
Note that if you are also modeling the momentum transport and expect a nonnegligible total mass flux over the boundary, which is often the case for gas diffusion electrodes, you need to also add a corresponding Electrode Surface Coupling node in the Fluid Flow interface.
This feature is only available in a limited set of add-on products. See
