The Surface Reactions node can be used to account for the species boundary flux due to chemical reactions occurring on a surface (heterogeneous reactions). For a domain species participating in a surface reaction, the boundary flux corresponds to the reaction rate at the surface.

Specify the surface reaction rate J0 of each species resulting from the reactions. Note that if you have the Chemistry interface available, provided with the Chemical Reaction Engineering Module, the reaction rate expressions can be automatically generated and picked up using the drop-down menu.
