Boundary, Edge, Point, and Pair Nodes for the Truss Interface
The Truss Interface has these boundary, edge, point, and pair nodes are available from the Physics ribbon toolbar (Windows users), Physics context menu (Mac or Linux users), or right-click to access the context menu (all users).
In general, to add a node, go to the Physics toolbar, no matter what operating system you are using. Subnodes are available by clicking the parent node and selecting it from the Attributes menu.
Features Available from Submenus
Many features for the Truss interface are added from submenus in the Physics toolbar groups or context menu (when you right-click the node). The submenu name is the same in both cases. The submenus at the Edge level (3D) or Boundary level (2D) are
Material Models
Line and Volume Loads
Mass, Spring, and Damper
Line Constraints
The submenus at the Point level are
Mass, Spring, and Damper
More Constraints
Pairs
