The Initial Values node adds initial values for the electron density and mean electron energy.

Enter values or expressions for the initial value of the Initial electron density ne,0 (SI unit: 1/m3) and Initial mean electron energy e0 (SI unit: V). Enter an approximate guess for the mean electron energy in the reactor. COMSOL Multiphysics automatically computes the exact mean electron energy after solving but the closer the guess can be set to the expected value the easier it is to find a solution.
