Transport Properties
Use the Transport Properties node to set the quantities defining the drift and convection transport mechanisms: model inputs, electric potential, reduced ion mobility, charge number, and velocity field.
Model Inputs
This section has fields and values that are inputs to expressions that define material properties. If such user-defined property groups are added, the model inputs display here.
Enter a Temperature T (SI unit: K) to compute the gas density.
Enter an Absolute pressure pA (SI unit: Pa) to compute the gas density.
The gas density is only used to compute the ion mobility from the given Reduced ion mobility.
Migration in the electric field
This section defines quantities used to compute the drift component of the current.
Enter a Electric potential V (SI unit: V) used to compute the electric field which results in migration of the ions.
Enter a Reduced ion mobility μiN (SI unit: 1/(V.m.s)) used to compute the ion mobility.
Enter a Charge number Ζq(dimensionless).
Convection
This section is available only when the Convection check box in the Transport Mechanisms property is selected. Enter the Velocity field u or in the case of multiphysics coupling select the interface from which the velocity should come.
