Use the Dielectric Contact node is used for modeling what happens when a plasma is in contact with a dielectric (insulating) surface. The Dielectric Contact can only be applied on boundaries adjacent to the Plasma Model feature.

Select a Surface charge type — Surface charge accumulation (the default) or Surface charge density. For Surface charge density enter the value or expression for σs.

Click to select the Enable distributed capacitance check box. Then enter the values or expressions for Relative permittivity εr (dimensionless), Surface thickness ds (SI unit: m), and Reference potential Vref. The default value for the surface thickness is 10−3 m (1 mm) and 0 V for the reference potential.
