Initial Interface
The Initial Interface node defines the boundary as the initial position of the interface .
If the Transient with Initialization () study is being used, for the initialization to work it is crucial that there are two Initial Values nodes and one Initial Interface node. One of the Initial Values nodes should use Specify phase: Fluid 1 and the other Specify phase: Fluid 2. The Initial Interface node should have all interior boundaries where the interface is initially present as selection. If the selection of the Initial interface node is empty, the initialization fails.
A version of the Initial Interface suitable for pairs where the boundaries match is also available. It combines the initial interface feature with the Continuity feature, which prescribes that the level set variable is continuous across the pair. To add the pair version of the initial interface feature, right click the physics interface and select Pairs>Initial Interface.
