Domain, Boundary, Edge, Point, and Pair Nodes for the Rotating Machinery, Magnetic Interface
The Rotating Machinery, Magnetic Interface has these boundary, edge, pair, and point nodes available from the Physics ribbon toolbar (Windows users), Physics context menu (Mac or Linux users), or right-click to access the context menu (all users).
In general, to add a node, go to the Physics toolbar, no matter what operating system you are using. Subnodes are available by clicking the parent node and selecting it from the Attributes menu.
Features Available from Submenus
Many features for this interface are added from submenus in the Physics toolbar groups or context menu (when you right-click the node). The submenu name is the same in both cases. The Domain and Boundary level submenus are Vector Potential and Scalar Potential. There are also the Pairs and Points submenu.
Links to Feature Node Information
These domain nodes are described in this section:
In the COMSOL Multiphysics Reference Manual see Table 2-4 for links to common sections and Table 2-5 to common feature nodes. You can also search for information: press F1 to open the Help window or Ctrl+F1 to open the Documentation window.
These boundary, edge, pair, and point nodes are described for the main physics interfaces that solve for the magnetic vector potential (Magnetic Fields) and the magnetic scalar potential (Magnetic Fields, No Currents). The nodes listed in alphabetical order are:
1 Select this from the Vector Potential submenu for this interface.
2 Select this from the Scalar Potential submenu for this interface.
