Thermal Expansion (Rigid Connector)
Add the Thermal Expansion subnode to prescribe a deformation of the rigid connector caused by changes in temperature. This makes it possible to reduce stresses caused by the rigid connector being rigid, while there are thermal deformations in the flexible body to which it is attached.
The thermal strain depends on the coefficient of thermal expansion α, the temperature T, and the strain-free reference temperature Tref as
Layer Selection
Select the layer or interfaces based on this node is added under which type of rigid connector feature. You can select individual layers or interfaces in this node which are allowed on the parent node.

All other settings for the Thermal Expansion node are described in the documentation for Thermal Expansion (Rigid Connector) in the Solid Mechanics interface.
