Fixed Constraint
Use the Fixed Constraint node to set all displacements on the selected entities to zero. It is available for boundaries, edges, and points.
To constrain interfaces between the material layers, use Fixed Constraint, Interface..
Layer Selection
In the Fixed Constraint node, you cannot access individual layers. Thus the selection in this section only acts as a filter for the boundary selection. The constraint is applied all through the thickness of the shell.
All other settings for the Fixed Constraint node are described in the documentation for Fixed Constraint in the Solid Mechanics interface.
