Electrical Material Model
The Electrical Material Model adds the equations necessary to solve for a static or quasi-static electric field. The Electrical Conductivity (Time-Harmonic) and Dielectric Loss subnodes are available from the context menu (right-click the parent node) or from the Physics toolbar, Attributes menu.
Electric Field
Select a Constitutive relationRelative permittivity, Polarization, or Remanent displacement.
For Relative permittivity select a Relative permittivity (εr) (dimensionless). The default uses values From material. For User defined select Isotropic, Diagonal, Symmetric, or Anisotropic and enter values in the matrix or field.
For Polarization enter the Polarization P (SI unit: C/m2) coordinates.
For Remanent displacement select a Relative permittivity (εr). The default uses values From material. For User defined select Isotropic, Diagonal, Symmetric, or Anisotropic and enter values in the matrix or field. Then enter the Remanent displacement (Dr) (SI unit: C/m2) coordinates.
